Synopsis：Kind-hearted yet extremely face-conscious Wang Changge returns home for the Chinese New Year and, through a series of twists, ends up taking care of Guoguo, his niece who was left behind in the countryside. After arriving in the big city, Wang Changge and Guoguo go through various bittersweet and embarrassing situations. The highly face-conscious Wang Changge feels that Guoguo, from the countryside, brings him nothing but shame and trouble. However, as time goes by, he begins to discover Guoguo's lovable innocence and down-to-earth nature. Suddenly, he realizes that although life with Guoguo is hard and far from ideal, it is joyful and happy. Reflecting on his own circumstances, he increasingly feels that he has become too unreal and hypocritical, and has long forgotten his original aspirations for coming to the big city.
