Synopsis：Zhang Donglai, an ordinary elderly man living alone, spends his days accompanied only by his dog—his emotional anchor named “Liangxin.” But one day, the dog goes missing. Frustrated in his solo search, he enlists the help of his timid old friend Zhao Guoming and Liu Huaming, a neighbor he never got along with. Following clues left by the dog thief, the trio disguise themselves as trendy streetwear enthusiasts, peeling back layers of mystery. They craft their own anti-mainstream fashion and crash Fashion Week as leading avant-garde artists. To confront the mastermind behind the dog theft, they pose as pop singers and enter an underground music competition, winning over fans and beating out young idols for the championship under a commercial deal. Their chase leads them into a motorcycle race: they ditch their scooter and channel Ernest Hemingway’s toughness, hopping onto a cool sidecar motorcycle and outrunning a biker gang through coordinated teamwork. Along the way, the three men shed their isolation and grudges, becoming better versions of themselves—truly “trendy uncles.” Though Liangxin dies in childbirth, the puppy’s birth brings new hope to Zhang Donglai’s life.
