Synopsis："I Come from Beijing: Press the Gourd and the Pear Rises" is supervised by the Publicity Department of the Supreme People's Court, directed by the Beijing Municipal Bureau of Radio and Television, organized by the Youth Work Committee of the China Television Drama Production Industry Association, produced by Beijing Changxin Film and Television Media Co., Ltd., co-shot by the CPC Ningling County Committee and Ningling County Government, supervised by Guo Jingyu, directed by Bai Shan, with Xue Xin and Li Zixiao as chief producers, Liu Bo as producer, Li Zhichao and Liu Yuchang as screenwriters, and starring Yang Zhigang, Lü Yi, with Heizi, Zhang Hui, Wei Ziyang, Hao Mingqi, Pei Xinglei, Gu Jing, Ma He, and Lu Lin. The film is set against the great historical process of the "poverty alleviation campaign," telling the typical deeds of cadres from the Supreme People's Court in targeted poverty alleviation work. The film started shooting on September 30, 2020, with all scenes shot on location in Ningling County. After post-production, it is scheduled to premiere on December 4, "National Constitution Day."
