Synopsis：Village doctor Shannon Lewis works herself to the bone to put her fiancé, Nathan Hardin, through college, only to discover he has secretly married another woman in the city. Devastated, she cuts him off completely. Soon after, she accidentally saves Kyson Pearson, a hunted mafia boss who falls for her at first sight and immediately proposes. Though ruthless and decisive in the underworld, Kyson turns into a gentle, obedient, and doting “wife guy” at home. Through a series of near-identity reveals and sweet, comedic everyday moments, Shannon slowly falls in love with him and eventually uncovers who he really is. Meanwhile, Nathan’s wife, Paige, terrified that Shannon will try to win Nathan back, schemes against her again and again. In the end, Nathan and Paige pay dearly for their selfishness and betrayal.
