Synopsis：Julie, a kind yet strong-hearted farm woman, is forced apart from her loving husband and stripped of her child by the schemes of her spiteful, snobbish mother-in-law, Madeleine. She later adopts an abandoned infant, Susanna. Seventeen years later, Julie learns that her biological son, Justin, is tormenting her adoptive daughter.
