简介：In 1944, the Nationalist forces suffered defeat in the Changheng Campaign. Officer Fei Zhenxi, wounded and unconscious in battle, was captured and thrown into a Japanese POW camp. There, all prisoners endured not only brutal physical torture but also relentless psychological destruction. Fei Zhenxi repeatedly challenged the Japanese soldiers with cunning tactics, only to be brutally beaten each time, yet he remained unyielding for his country and his beliefs. After enduring a series of inhuman torments, he unexpectedly met fellow patriots—Communist fighters Liu Feng, Feng Laoda, and others—who shared his resolve. Inspired by the spirit of the Eighth Route Army led by Liu Feng, Fei Zhenxi decided to join the Communist Party. In the end, together they thwarted a Japanese conspiracy and led a group of prisoners to break out of the camp.
