简介：Once, Ava Montague was the most cherished heir of the powerful Montague family. Then her father, Gabriel, vanished—and when he finally returned four years later, he had no memory of who he was. In his absence, Ava’s stepmother, Regina, and stepbrother, Kieran, branded her unstable and dangerous, having her thrown into a prison isolation cell and treated like a madwoman. Beaten, silenced, and stripped of all dignity, even her final meal was turned into a new form of humiliation. When Gabriel suddenly came back and dragged Ava back from the brink of death, the daughter he saved was no longer the naive girl she once had been. Scarred by years of darkness, Ava is determined to reclaim her inheritance and ruin everyone who betrayed her. But revenge can’t erase the shadows the isolation cell carved into her soul. Then a man appears—dangerously handsome, unnervingly sharp, able to see through every mask she wears. He touches the wounds she’s spent years burying. Can the part of Ava that once believed in love, the part she thought had died in that cell, ever truly come back to life?
