简介：Ambitious actress Claire Evens is secretly involved with powerful producer Mitch Sterling—until an unexpected pregnancy shatters their fragile romance. Mitch’s charm turns to cruelty as he pressures Claire to abort the baby and pushes her out of his life. Devastated and alone, Claire finds comfort in Alex, a struggling screenwriter who becomes her only true ally. In a moment of desperation, Claire threatens to expose her pregnancy to the press. Mitch’s attitude changes overnight; he pretends to reconcile, and Claire, longing for love, agrees to meet him despite Alex’s warnings. It’s a trap. Mitch lures her out and attempts to eliminate both her and their unborn child in a horrifying way. Alex witnesses the brutal act but loses consciousness just before help arrives. Twenty years later, Alex is a celebrated screenwriter, and Claire’s orphaned daughter, Clara, has risen to stardom as one of the most sought‑after actresses in the industry. With fame and influence now on their side, Alex and Clara join forces, determined to drag Mitch’s darkest crime into the light—and make him pay for what he did.
