简介：Roger, the chairman of the trillion‑dollar WestDream Group, wants to do something special for his hard‑working single mother and formally introduce his fiancée Vivian to her. He brings his mother Susan, who toils in a small‑town diner, to the city to celebrate her birthday. But Vivian’s cousin Lisa, unaware of who Susan really is, mistakes her for a thief and publicly humiliates her. Later, Vivian herself also targets Susan, branding her a fraud and repeatedly insulting her. Susan tries again and again to explain, yet no one is willing to listen. After enduring wave after wave of humiliation, Susan is on the verge of breaking down when Roger rushes in and saves her. Only then does everyone realize that the humble woman they despised is actually Roger’s mother. By the time regret sets in, it is already too late. Roger vows to make those who bullied his mother pay the price and to restore her long‑denied dignity.
