简介：Caroline Harrington, heiress of one of L.A.’s most powerful elite families, hides her true identity to marry middle‑class CEO Liam Foster. In secret, she uses her family’s resources to fuel his rise, never asking for credit. But Natty Parker, the pampered youngest daughter of the Parker clan who has always coveted Liam, teams up with Liam’s mother to frame Caroline—staging a scene that makes it look as if Caroline is being intimate with Liam’s uncle, Connor, right before Liam’s eyes. Misled and furious, Liam divorces her and throws her out. Devastated, Caroline returns to her wealthy family, vowing revenge on her ex‑husband and his relatives—only to slowly fall for the mature, irresistibly charming Connor and eventually marry him. When Liam later uncovers his mother and Natty’s scheme, he is consumed with regret and determined to win Caroline back. Now caught between Connor, her sophisticated and devoted current husband, and Liam, the man she once loved with all her heart, which man—and which future—will Caroline choose?
