简介：On the day of my marking ceremony, my mate Alex and my sister Rose are caught mating in the dressing room, turning me into the laughingstock of the entire pack. While I’m drowning in shame, Alpha Nate steps forward and marks me in front of everyone. After we marry, Nate treats me with extraordinary gentleness, but we never manage to conceive a pup. Desperate, I turn to IVF and finally get pregnant. Nate becomes even more attentive, murmuring “Darling” to me in his sleep, and I truly believe the Moon Goddess has blessed us. Then one day, I overhear a conversation between Nate and his Beta—just because Rose is afraid of pain and refuses to be pregnant, Nate secretly switched our eggs and made me carry her child, planning to hand the baby to Rose after birth and lie that my pup was stillborn. To him, I am just an abandoned Omega, and staying by my side is nothing more than his idea of compensation. All that tenderness was a carefully crafted lie. I immediately schedule an abortion; I don’t want this tainted child, and I refuse to cling to a sham of a marriage. I may be an Omega, but I am no one’s pawn.
