简介：Edwin Cole has spent his life in the shadows, quiet, forgettable, never drawing a second glance—until the day he learns his estranged younger sister has been taken by Tyler Thorne, a ruthless crime lord based overseas. The police need someone to go under. Edwin agrees. What follows is a razor’s-edge undercover mission: he walks into a world ruled by violence, earning Tyler’s trust inch by inch, sidestepping the traps and power plays of suspicious lieutenants while quietly building a case from within. His only lifeline is a covert police contact known as Rose, and together they chip away at the syndicate—breaking cells, disabling enforcers, and surviving close-quarters encounters with real killers. No matter how deep the cover, how high the stakes, or how brutal the game becomes, his focus never wavers: bring the empire down, get his sister back, and make sure no one else’s family pays the price his did.
