简介：High on Mount Olympus, on the same fateful night, Hera, Queen of the Gods, and her chief priestess Doloreia each bore a daughter. Awakened in the dark, Hera secretly witnessed Doloreia, consumed by jealousy, switching the newborns—intending to pass off her own child as the divine heir while condemning Hera’s true daughter to a life of servitude and cruelty. Rather than expose her immediately, Hera quietly switched the infants back after Doloreia left, burying the secret and waiting eighteen long years for the right moment to deliver judgment. Eighteen years later, Hera’s beloved daughter Athena was crowned Goddess of Wisdom and named among the Twelve Olympians. At the height of the celebration, Doloreia brazenly proclaimed that Athena was her biological child, fabricating a tale of a “nursery mix-up” with a false witness. Zeus erupted in rage and the gods fell into turmoil, until Hera, calm and resolute, summoned the Three Fates to pronounce the final divine oracle. When the truth was revealed, Doloreia discovered—far too late—that Hilda, the girl she had tormented and abused for eighteen years, was in fact her real daughter.
