简介：Three years after Shen Yiyao’s death, her lonely soul wanders the world, unable to reincarnate. Yet Pei Jizhi, her ex-husband who had been emotionally distant and unambitious during her lifetime, uses the excuse of mourning her to build a good reputation for himself. His life flourishes, and his official career rises smoothly. Shen Yiyao cannot accept this and decides to teach Pei Jizhi a lesson in the name of a ghost. Instead, she finds herself outmatched and controlled by the more cunning Pei Jizhi. The human and the ghost remain entangled, and through their banter and quarrels, the misunderstandings from their past lives are finally revealed. But when the broken mirror is about to be pieced together again, it is already a farewell between the living and the dead.
