简介："Cheng Ling, a chief financial officer who had resolutely divorced her ex-husband over his infidelity, discovered on the very first day newly appointed Chairman Xie Lian took office that he was the fiercely possessive younger boyfriend she had broken off contact with abruptly five years ago. The first words Xie Lian said to her were an intimate whisper they had shared in bed.

Colleagues across the company mocked her, sneering that she dressed “tastelessly”. Cheng Ling knew full well: what Xie Lian loved was the bold, unrestrained, flamboyant version of herself with dyed hair speeding along the Route 318 highway five years ago—not this mundane, unremarkable finance executive she had become today."
