简介：Modern office worker Bai Zhizhi stays up late binge-reading a melodramatic, angst-filled novel. After finishing it, she can only resent that the heroine never speaks up. Furious at the over-the-top plot, she suffers a heart attack and collapses, only to wake up inside the novel as the very same heroine. The moment she sees the disgusting scumbag male lead, the scheming “green tea” mistress who is also her adopted younger sister, her brainless parents, and the future where she will be tormented physically and emotionally to the brink of death, Bai Zhizhi directly fires back at every awful person. But while getting revenge feels satisfying for a moment, she is soon driven into a corner by overwhelming power. Just then, the male lead’s powerful uncle from the original story appears—Fu Yanchen, the true head of the Fu Group.
