简介：Marine veteran Jack Holt built Ridgeline Farm Supply from nothing, turning it into the lifeline for 200 disabled vets who fight alongside him in civilian life. But there is one debt he can never repay—to Sam Russo, the brother-in-arms who sacrificed his legs to save their squad. Now Sam is gone, leaving behind a wife and a 9-year-old daughter, forced to face the predatory market boss Derek Malone alone. Sam left his little girl only one thing: a phone number and a promise that whoever answered would come when she needed help. When Sofia finally calls, Jack picks up. Saving them is only the beginning. Derek’s brother, Connor Malone, is a tycoon who controls half of Pittsburgh’s supply chain. Overnight he cancels every Ridgeline contract and brings Jack to his knees. They strip him of everything and make him beg—forgetting one simple truth: you never humiliate a fallen soldier’s widow in front of men who are willing to bleed for their country. When the reckoning comes, Jack and his fellow veterans are ready to make the Malones pay.
